Ultrasonic waves travel through the water and create microscopic bubbles through a process called cavitation. As those bubbles rapidly form and collapse, they create a gentle scrubbing action that helps loosen residue and buildup from grooves, crevices and detailed surfaces that brushing or wiping can miss.
48 kHz refers to the ultrasonic frequency generated by the cleaner — approximately 48,000 vibration cycles per second. These high-frequency vibrations create microscopic cavitation bubbles throughout the water to help loosen buildup from compatible items without requiring aggressive hand scrubbing.
“360° ultrasonic cleaning” refers to ultrasonic energy traveling through the water around a fully submerged item. This allows the cleaning action to reach exposed surfaces from multiple directions, including grooves, edges and small detailed areas that may be difficult to reach by hand.
Yes. Ultrasonic cleaning helps loosen visible debris as well as microscopic organic buildup from detailed surfaces and hard-to-reach areas. However, ultrasonic cleaning is a cleaning process, not sterilization, and ultrasound alone should not be described as killing all bacteria or disinfecting an item.
Water can be used for routine ultrasonic cleaning. For stains, oils or heavier buildup, adding a compatible cleaning tablet or solution can improve cleaning performance. Always choose a solution that is appropriate for the item you are cleaning.
Yes. The cleaner is designed for dental and sleep appliances, including compatible mouthpieces. Fully submerge the mouthpiece in the water without overcrowding the tank, then rinse it thoroughly after the cleaning cycle.
Yes. The DIFINEY Ultrasonic Cleaner can be used with compatible retainers, aligners, night guards, dentures and other removable dental appliances. Always follow the care instructions for the specific appliance and cleaning solution you use.
It depends on the size, lens material and coating. Your glasses must fit comfortably inside the tank without being forced, and the eyewear manufacturer should allow ultrasonic cleaning. Avoid ultrasonic cleaning if the lenses, coatings or frame manufacturer specifically advises against it.
Many compatible metal jewelry pieces can be cleaned ultrasonically, particularly when buildup collects around chains, settings and other detailed areas. However, not every gemstone, adhesive or jewelry construction is suitable for ultrasonic cleaning, so always check the jewelry’s care instructions first. DIFINEY's manual also recommends using an appropriate jewelry-cleaning solution when needed.
Removable watch bands may be suitable if their materials are approved for ultrasonic cleaning. We do not recommend placing an entire watch or electronic device into the cleaner unless its manufacturer specifically confirms that ultrasonic immersion is safe.
Add enough water to fully cover the area of the item you want to clean, while keeping the water level below the MAX line after the item has been placed inside. Do not overfill the tank, and never run the cleaner without water.
Use room-temperature or lukewarm water. Avoid extremely cold or hot water, as recommended in the DIFINEY Ultrasonic Cleaner instructions.
A standard everyday cleaning cycle runs for approximately 5 minutes and stops automatically. For more persistent buildup, another cycle or an appropriate compatible cleaning solution may be helpful.
For regularly worn items such as mouthpieces and retainers, the cleaner can be incorporated into your normal cleaning routine as needed. How often you clean will depend on how frequently the item is used, how quickly buildup develops and the item manufacturer’s care instructions.
Yes, if additional cleaning is needed, but avoid prolonged continuous operation. The DIFINEY manual recommends allowing the machine to cool and specifies a 15-minute break after three consecutive cycles to help prevent overheating.
Yes. The DIFINEY Ultrasonic Cleaner comes with a 30-Day Guarantee. If it is not right for you, you can request a return or exchange within 30 days after delivery. Contact service@idifiney.com with your order information so our team can help with the next step.
Yes. Do not assume that every item that fits in the tank is ultrasonic-safe. Delicate gemstones, glued or soldered components, certain coated surfaces and electronic products may require different care, so always check the item manufacturer’s cleaning instructions before use. DIFINEY's manual specifically warns against ultrasonic cleaning of unsuitable soldered joints.
Do not use harsh or corrosive chemicals, such as bleach, acetone, or paint thinner, in the tank. Use clean water or DIFINEY Cleaning Tablets, ensuring the cleaning solution is suitable for both ultrasonic cleaning and the items being cleaned.
A light buzzing sound during operation is normal and indicates that the ultrasonic system is working. The cavitation responsible for cleaning occurs on a microscopic scale, so you should not expect the tank to look like vigorously bubbling or boiling water.
Unplug the cleaner, remove your item and empty the tank after use. Wipe the stainless-steel tank and exterior with a clean, soft cloth or paper towel and allow the unit to dry before storing it. Do not immerse the cleaner itself in water or rinse the housing under running water.
Some stains and stubborn buildup may require a second cycle or a compatible cleaning solution designed for the material being cleaned. If the item remains unchanged after one or two cycles, do not keep running repeated cycles indefinitely — check whether the residue requires a different cleaning method or solution.
